ClearNet isolates each website you visit so third-party trackers and ads can't follow you. Any cookies automatically clear when you're done browsing. So will your browsing history.
ClearNet uses military grade encryption (AES-256), so that your traffic stays yours. Your traffic is relayed and encrypted three times. We will never log traffic data, DNS queries, or anything that could be used to identify you. With ClearNet there is no need for users to reveal their IP address and location to websites.
Traditionally, security comes with the drawback of speed and/or the ease of use for users. ClearNet tries to minimize those drawbacks as best we can. We put our users first before anything else, with user experience and satisfaction our #1 priority. Since we block ads and trackers by default this gives users faster page load times. With our large CDN around the world we are able to cache large amounts of data so that users can retrieve data faster and closer to them geographically.
ClearNet's mission is to make the internet a more safer, accessible, and faster place for everyone.

ClearNet's mission is to make the internet a more safer, accessible, and faster place for everyone.
Privacy is the ability to control who can access information about our private life and our activities.
Privacy is important because:
Thankfully Privacy is not dead (yet) but it is under threat. Some entities such as the NSA have made it clear that their goal is the end of privacy, worldwide. Without privacy, we will become easily controlled, manipulated, and feel a loss of control over ourselves and our personal lives. However, the good news is that now more than ever, many businesses, technologists, activists and others are hard at work to improve and maintain our privacy.
You should care because the data that is gathered from someone's private life, taken out of context, can hurt them.
Even if you have 'nothing to hide', what is taken out of context can sometimes be damning.
For example, Like say you had a lot of Muslim friends, and you decided one day you wanted to buy a pressure cooker because you need one for your kitchen. If homeland security (or some federal anti-terrorism agency) mined this data, they could add you to the "no-fly" list because A) you associate with possible terrorists and B) you bought a pressure cooker.
An organization that is able to get its hands on a large amount of private information could make all sorts of inferences based on weak assumptions. And on those inferences, they may act and affect your life.
There's also the argument that you may have something to hide in the future, and once you give people the permission to spy on you, it is hard to take it away (or ensure they aren't still doing it anyway).
However, in the end, it doesn't matter why you care, or if you really do care all that much. The right to your privacy belongs to you. It is yours, and you get to decide all matters pertaining to it. Anyone taking it without your permission is taking a valuable right, and that's not OK.
There are many ways you can improve your privacy, for example by exercising caution before sharing private data online or with others. You may also make minor decisions, such as paying in cash instead of using a credit card, encrypting your emails and backups, and reading the terms of services before using a product (ie. is your privacy going to be respected?). However, we at ClearNet understand that this is not always possible. Which is why we created ClearNet, a simple and easy to use way to protect your privacy and data.
ClearNet makes sure that your data stays yours and that you are not tracked and targeted on the internet. We block ads, cookies, and other analytics platforms that are used to track you.
